Chief Engineer

GTN-TV, a Columbus,Ohio based broadcaster with a local station national network, is looking for a proactive, forward thinking, take charge Chief Engineer. We are looking for a self starter who will be a key member in the implementation of new system architecture, system components and vender relationships as well as responsible for the preventative maintenance of equipment including Beta SP & DVC-Pro tape machines, automation, switchers, servers, UHF transmitters, satellite uplink and downlink equipment, and a complete post production environment. Responsibilities will include activities involved in maintaining all areas FCC compliance. Familiarity with the integration of an IT-based video environments is a plus. Working knowledge of Sundance Digital automation & Omneon video servers is preferred. Full employee benefits, health, dental, 401k.
